Campers will learn the music of 60s and 70s rock icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Heart, The Rolling Stones in our Classic Rock Rewind Summer Performance Camp. In addition to songs, campers will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on a stage. Campers will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing a full set of songs, all culminating in a live performance. Group activities and games will also be included, but the final performance rehearsals serve as the main tool for furthering each camper's music education journey.
This camp is for campers 9-17 years of age who can already play their instruments. Playing ability is required for this camp to ensure that the camp week is fun for everyone. If we are not familiar with your camper's playing ability, we will work with you to find out more about your camper, including offering a free trial lesson at School of Rock Lake Oswego as an assessment. An Immersion Pass discounted lesson pack is a perfect way for campers to help them learn the necessary skills to play in the camp.
This camp runs 9:00am - 3:00pm for five days, Monday through Friday. There is an epic performance on Friday for family and friends.
